Our Post is very pleased to sponsor the National VFW Academic contests

at both Bermudian Springs and New Oxford School Districts. The Voice

of Democracy Speech Contest is for students in grades 9-12. Students

are required to create and record an original 3-5 minute speech on a

specific theme. The Patriot's Pen Essay Contest is for students in

grades 6-8. Students are asked to write a 300-400 word essay on a
